
Broken Top and the surrounding peaks of the Cascade Range dominate this high-elevation landscape within the Deschutes National Forest. The geography is defined by volcanic features, including the Cayuse Crater and the prominent ridge of Broken Hand. Water is present in numerous alpine basins, from the cluster of Green Lakes to the larger reaches of Sparks Lake and Three Creek Lake.
