Bumblebee Peak stands at the center of this mountain landscape within the Coeur d'Alene National Forest, straddling the border between Kootenai and Shoshone Counties. The terrain is defined by steep ridges and narrow drainages, notably Shell Ridge and Bumblebee Ridge. This area shows a complex network of forest development roads and off-highway vehicle trails, such as Laverne Creek Ohv and Steamboat Ohv, which provide access to high-elevation points like Hemlock Mtn and Tepee Peak. In the southern reaches, the Little North Fork Road follows the waterway near Bumblebee Meadow, an area where the topography briefly levels out before rising again toward Laverne Saddle. The map documents a strictly managed wilderness, tracing various branches of Cougar Gulch and the dramatic drop of Devils Gorge.
