About this map

The Rum River winds through the western half of this Isanti County landscape, anchoring the city of Cambridge. In the early 1980s, the community was characterized by its institutional and civic landmarks, including the extensive grounds of the State Hospital and the County Fairground. The Burlington Northern railroad corridor provides a north-south spine for the region, passing through the heart of the settlement and near the smaller siding of Moody.
