The East Fork South Fork Salmon River carves a deep path through this high-altitude landscape in Valley County, Idaho. High ridges and peaks define the region, with Indian Peak and Sawpit Hill towering over a complex network of drainages. The river valley is accessed by E Fork RD, a corridor connecting the central terrain to the surrounding mountains. In the southern reaches of the quadrangle, Caton Meadow and Marion Lake indicate lower-lying basins where water collects before feeding into the surrounding creek systems.
