The northeastern portion of the sheet highlights the lands of the Acoma Indian Reservation and the adjacent Acoma Purchase. On the high summit of the peak, a Lookout Tower provides a strategic vantage point overlooking the drainage systems of Cebolla Creek and Brazo Canyon. This survey captures the region just as photogrammetric methods were refining the documentation of its intricate topography, from the small seeps like Little Cebolla Spring to the seasonal basins of Rodeo Lake and the Tub Lakes.
