Lake Powell reaches into the northwestern corner of this Coconino County landscape, where the waters of Navajo Creek meet the inundated canyon floors. The terrain is defined by a complex network of drainage systems, including the long course of Kaibito Creek and the deep incision of Chaol Canyon. On the eastern side of the sheet, the eponymous Cedar Tree Bench stands as a prominent plateau above the surrounding washes.
