Chalybeate Mountain dominates the western topography of this Arkansas landscape, where the settlements of Fendley, Lenox, and Chalybeate Valley are interconnected by a network of rural routes and forest trails. The drainage of Terre Noire Creek and Brushy Creek shapes the local geography, leading toward the upper reaches of De Gray Lake in the northeast. This 2011 survey illustrates a transition between higher elevations and the water-rich basin near the Brushy Creek Access Point.
