The town of Chemult serves as the central hub for this high-elevation landscape within the Winema National Forest. Much of the area is defined by a seasonal recreation network of snow trails, including the Chemult Run and Twinkle Loop, which weave through the timber between notable volcanic features like Deer Butte and the steep elevation change of Walker Rim. The drainage of Miller Cr and Deer Cr feeds into the local hydrology, while Beaver Marsh to the south provides a distinct wetland environment. In the southern portion of the quadrangle, the Beaver Marsh State Airport sits near the junction of Pole Rd and Holiday Ln, highlighting the importance of aviation and transit in this forested territory of Klamath County.
