Codys Corner and Deanville anchor the northern reaches of this Florida landscape, where the flatlands of Flagler County meet the Volusia County line. The area is defined by a complex network of wetlands and watercourses, including the meandering paths of Middle Haw Creek and Little Haw Creek, which flow toward the western edge of the map near Lake Disston. This 2015 survey illustrates a rural interior transitioning between agricultural use and protected natural spaces, with the southern boundary reaching into the swampy terrain of Heart Island.
