The northern Marinette County settlement of Goodman sits at the head of a landscape defined by an intricate network of glacial lakes and river systems. The southern portion of the sheet is dominated by the Peshtigo River, which winds through Taylor Rapids and past the drop at Strong Falls. This area is a critical drainage point where the South Branch Pike River and various creeks like Camp F Cr and Fisher Cr weave through dense wetlands such as Phillips Marsh.
