The landscape transitions from the developed corridors of North Corbin and Camp Grounds to the more dispersed communities of Dorthae, Hopewell, and Woodbine. This area is characterized by a high density of family and community burial grounds, including Resthaven Cem, Pine Hill Cem, and McFarland Cem, which are essential markers for genealogical research in these southeastern Kentucky highlands.
