Harquahala Plain defines the landscape of this 1990 survey, showing the agricultural and water-management infrastructure of western Arizona at the end of the century. The Granite Reef Aqueduct cuts a prominent east-west path across the northern half of the map, supported by several Pumping Sta installations and a large Transmission Line. This artificial waterway contrasts with the natural drainage of Centennial Wash which meanders through the southern portion of the sheet.
