2017 Map of Crazy Peak

USGS Topo · Published 2017

About this map

Crazy Peak and the surrounding high-elevation interior of the Gallatin National Forest dominate this survey along the border of Park and Sweet Grass counties. The landscape is defined by a dense network of glacial basins and alpine water bodies, including Oasis Lakes, Diamond Lake, and the source of Cottonwood Cr. The topography here is exceptionally steep, dropping from the summits of Big Timber Peak and Wilsall Peak into deep incisions like Big Timber Canyon.
