The Chewuch River valley carves through the eastern portion of this high-elevation landscape within the Okanogan National Forest. This 2020 edition reveals a complex network of drainages and peaks, centered on the high divide between the river and Eightmile Cr. To the west, the terrain is defined by prominent landmarks such as Farewell Peak, Ike Mtn, and Doe Mtn, while the southern reaches feature the riparian environment of Siegels Slough. The drainage pattern is exceptionally detailed, showing the convergence of numerous smaller tributaries like Bud Cr, Alex Cr, and Doe Cr as they move toward the main river channel. Notable water features include Falls Creek Falls and the winding course of Junior Cr, which illustrate the steep descent from ridges like Eightmile Ridge into the valley floors below.
