Billy Goat Mtn and the surrounding high country of the Okanogan National Forest are captured here just as the Pasayten Wilderness was being formally designated. The landscape is defined by its network of steep ridges and high-altitude water bodies, including Fox Lakes, Fool Hen Lake, and the remote No Dice Lake. A complex system of pack trails and primitive jeep trails provides the only access through this terrain, connecting remote points like LO Camp and Billy Goat Corral.
