The small community of Duette sits at the intersection of several rural corridors in eastern Manatee County, serving as a quiet anchor for a landscape defined by significant water systems and extensive wetlands. The E Fork Manatee River and its various tributaries, including Wingate Cr, meander through the western half of the territory, while the eastern portion is drained by Horse Cr and the W Fork Horse Cr.
