Dutchman Peak stands as the prominent landmark along the crest where the Rogue River National Forest meets the Klamath National Forest. The landscape here is defined by high-elevation transition zones, marked by a series of open meadows and glades including Perks Pasture, Donomore Meadows, and Sally Glade. This high-country drainage is the headwaters for numerous creeks, such as Beaver Cr and Squaw Cr, which have carved out deep recesses like Texter Gulch and Sulphur Gulch.
