Eastonville and its surrounding high plains landscape are defined by a complex network of seasonal drainage and modern water management. Located in El Paso County, the area features numerous flood control structures including the Kiowa Creek Watershed J-33 Reservoir and Kiowa Creek Watershed 1-M-10 Reservoir, illustrating the critical role of water conservation in this arid region. The terrain is marked by Rattlesnake Butte to the east and the edge of the Black Forest to the west, while several creeks like Black Squirrel Creek and West Bijou Creek carve through the landscape.
