Elephant Peak and the high ridges of the Cabinet Mountains dominate this wilderness landscape along the border of Sanders and Lincoln counties. The area is defined by its dramatic glacial cirques and alpine basins, including Moran Basin and Rock Creek Meadows. A network of high-elevation lakes such as Saint Paul Lake, Isabella Lake, and Engle Lake feed a complex system of drainages, including the E Fork Bull River and Rock Cr.
