Helena National Forest spans the high divide between Lewis and Clark and Powell counties in this recent survey. The landscape is defined by the high crest of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trl, which winds past Meyers Hill and Esmeralda Hill. This terrain is deeply dissected by a network of gulches and creeks, with numerous springs such as Dana Spring and Cayuse Spring feeding the headwaters.
