Gallatin National Forest dominates this high-altitude landscape along the border of Park and Sweet Grass counties. The terrain is defined by the prominent Fairview Peak and the high tableland of Robinson Bench, where drainage patterns radiate into numerous steep drainages. The map reveals a complex network of named watercourses, including Hole-in-the-Rock Cr and the headwaters of S Fork Big Timber Cr. High-elevation water features like Swamp Lake are situated near the peaks, illustrating the hydrology of the Absaroka-Beartooth region. In the more accessible areas to the southwest, Robinson Bench Rd provides one of the few named transport routes through the forest, connecting the higher ridges to the lower valleys of Little Rock Creek and Cole Cr. This map is particularly useful for identifying specific tributary branches like N Rock Creek AA and isolated water sources such as 02N11E28B Spring.
