Fifth Musquacook Lake and Fourth Musquacook Lake anchor this remote landscape along the border of Aroostook and Piscataquis counties. The terrain is defined by a dense network of high-elevation water bodies and isolated peaks, including Hudson Mtn and the Rocky Brook Mountains. A single thoroughfare, Reality Rd, provides limited access to the northern reaches near Long Pond and Squirrel Pond.
