Fiftone occupies the northwest corner of this West Jacksonville landscape, where residential expansion meets the expansive wetlands and drainage basins of the Florida interior. The northeast is dominated by the industrial and aviation footprint of Cecil Airport, with its surrounding infrastructure including Aerospace Way and Authority Ave. This area shows a distinct transition from suburban street grids to the more open, creek-scored terrain typical of the Duval Co Clay Co border region.

Waterways define the rural character of the southern half of the quadrangle, notably the Yellow Water Cr and the headwaters of the N Fork Black Cr. Local heritage is preserved in several family burial grounds scattered throughout the wooded parcels, including the Whitker Cem, Manning Cem, and Deese Cem. Important transit corridors like Normandy Blvd and 103rd St link the scattered settlements and rural estates to the metropolitan center.
