The interior forest of northern Aroostook County is defined by a dense network of streams and logging infrastructure in this 2018 survey. The landscape is primarily organized around the W Side Echo Lake Rd, which provides the only major navigational spine through the highlands of T14 R10 WELS. This remote territory serves as the headwaters for several major drainage systems, with the topography guiding the flow of the N Br Fox Brook and S Br Fox Brook.
