Snake Valley dominates this arid stretch of Millard County, where the high desert terrain is defined by sparse water sources and the long thread of Gandy Rd. Flowing from the west, intermittent drainage is recorded through Smith Creek, Hampton Creek, and Hendrys Creek, which descend toward the valley floor. This 2023 survey by the U.S. Geological Survey shows a landscape almost entirely devoid of modern structural development, preserving the remote character of the Great Basin. The grid-like survey lines highlight the vast, open nature of this region, providing a clean record of the natural topography and the single primary access route that connects this section of the valley to the larger Gandy area.
