Barney Reservoir sits at the high confluence of the Coast Range peaks where Washington, Yamhill, and Tillamook counties meet. This 2024 survey documents a landscape defined by industrial forestry and complex hydrology, where the headwaters of the North Fork Trask River, North Yamhill River, and Tualatin River emerge from steep terrain. Logging infrastructure is prominent, with the NW Flora Mainline and Headquarters Grade providing access to high-elevation points like Gobblers Knob and the Simmons Spur settlement area.
