Deep Creek Range rises dramatically above the high desert floor, dominating the eastern half of this landscape on the border of Juab and Tooele counties. The settlement of Goshute sits in the southwestern corner, linked to the wider region by a network of specialized roads such as BIA Hwy 1 and Eleven South Reservation Way. The rugged geography is defined by a series of significant canyons including Eightmile Canyon, Kelly Canyon, and the multi-branched Durse Canyon, which provide natural drainage routes for seasonal waters like E Deep Cr and Fifteenmile Cr.
