The Sawatch Range dominates this landscape of high peaks and alpine basins within the White River National Forest. While the northeastern edge of the map touches the developed valley floors of Edwards and Avon, the heart of the terrain is defined by the high-elevation reach of the Beaver Creek Ski Area. Infrastructure for the resort is documented through specific lift locations such as Top Lift 7 and Lift 9 Mid-Point, alongside an extensive network of named trails like the Village Loop Trl and Cinch Trl.

Away from the ski runs, the geography transitions into a series of interconnected basins and lakes.
