The terrain, drained by the Grand River and Big Creek, is dotted with family-named landmarks like Kohler Hill and legacy sites such as Harris Cem and Pitts Chapel Cem. Later revisions from the 1980s are overlaid in purple, showing suburban growth and new infrastructure like the Richert Landing Strip while preserving the location of earlier one-room schools like Lone Elm Sch.
