Henry sits at the eastern edge of a dramatic high-altitude landscape defined by the expansive Blackfoot Reservoir and the volcanic terrain of the Blackfoot Lava Field. The area exhibits a complex hydrological network where the Little Blackfoot River and Meadow Creek feed into the reservoir, which is dotted with numerous landforms including Long Island, Gull Island, and Willow Island. The topography is sharply divided between the wide, marshy reaches of Chubb Flat and the prominent heights of Pelican Ridge and Crater Mtn.
