Peshtigo Brook and the North Branch Oconto River wind through a landscape defined by glacial kettle lakes and small agricultural crossroads settlements. The eastern portion of the map is particularly dense with water bodies, including the curiously named Impassable Lake, Papoose Lake, and Little Squaw Lake. These lakes are connected by a network of local roads such as Wescott Lake Rd and Deer Lake Rd, which provide access to seasonal homes and recreation areas.
