About this map

The Little Lost River winds through the high desert of Butte County, Idaho, defining the central hydrology of the Little Lost River Valley. To the southwest, the dramatic rise of the Lost River Range creates a series of steep drainage features, including Buck Canyon, Sands Canyon, and Cedarville Canyon. This area marks a transition from the alluvial valley floor into the protected lands of the Challis National Forest.
