2019 Map of Huffman

About this map

Huffman serves as the central hub of this northeast Harris County landscape, situated where the FM 2100 RD and FM 1960 corridors intersect. The area is defined by a dense network of drainage features, including John Young Gully, Mexican Gully, and Shook Gully, which feed into the meandering Luce Bayou and Cedar Bayou. The map illustrates the transition from the residential expansions of Houston near the shores of Lake Houston to the more open lands toward Eastgate in Liberty County. Local history is anchored by several burial sites, such as Huffman Cem and Saint Annes Cem, while the industrial and agricultural water needs of the region are evidenced by the large Seaberg Reservoir Number 4 and Seaberg Reservoir Number 1 located southeast of the main settlement.
