Ireland Springs sits at the base of the Pleasantview Hills, a landscape defined by the complex topography of Oneida County. This modern survey illustrates the transition from the high ridges of Holbrook Summit down into the productive reaches of Malad Valley. The area is carved by a network of drainage systems including Ireland Canyon, Stump Canyon, and North Fork John Evans Canyon, which have historically influenced movement through this portion of the Intermountain West.
