Corbin and Jefferson City anchor the southern reaches of this landscape, situated along the corridor of Prickly Pear Cr. The terrain is defined by a dense network of gulches and mountain peaks, including Valparaiso Mtn and Wolf Mtn, which reveal the complex topography of the northern Elkhorn Mountains. A northern portion of the sheet is occupied by the Helena National Forest, where features like Whiteman Gulch and Lump Gulch dissect the high ground.
