Fishlake National Forest dominates this section of the Pahvant Range, where the landscape is defined by high peaks and deeply cut canyons. The topography centers around several prominent summits, including Joseph Peak and Indian Peak, which overlook a network of seasonal water sources such as Gardner Hollow Reservoirs and Chokecherry Reservoir. The boundary between Millard and Sevier Counties traverses the high ridges, separating the drainage systems that feed into Grass Valley to the east and the canyons to the west.
