Kinta occupies the northwestern corner of this study, positioned near the shores of Kinta Lake and the winding course of Sans Bois Cr. The landscape shifts dramatically south of town, moving from the creek flats into the high, ridged terrain of the Sans Bois Mountains. This transition is marked by a series of named peaks and geological landmarks, including Hulsey Mtn, Blue Mtn, and the distinctive White Rocks in the southeast.
