Ebenezer Cemetery stands as a focal point for family history in this rural corner of Elbert County, situated along the Kiowa-Bennett Rd. The landscape is defined by the intermittent drainage patterns of Kiowa Creek and Wolf Creek, which flow northward across a series of section lines and county roads. Land management efforts are visible through the infrastructure of the R Johnson Erosion Control Dam Number 1 and its associated R Johnson Erosion Control Reservoir Number 1 in the eastern portion of the quadrangle. This 2010 survey reflects a largely agricultural and pastoral environment where the grid of county roads, such as County Rd-154 and County Rd-174, provides the primary structure for local transit and property boundaries.
