Cimarron River winds through the northern and eastern portions of this southwestern Kansas landscape, carving a valley that defines the local topography. This 2018 survey documents the rural boundary where Seward Co and Meade Co meet, a region characterized by expansive section lines and a network of gravel routes such as River Rd and Co Rd S. The terrain transitions from flat agricultural uplands to the etched breaks of Wolf Canyon in the southeast corner.
