Klobe Hot Springs and numerous other hydrologic features define this high-desert landscape in northern Nevada. The terrain is a network of arid basins and drainages, most notably Antelope Valley and its associated Antelope Wash. These dry stretches are punctuated by critical water sources including Warm Spring, Bradford Spring, and Antelope Spring, which likely served as vital landmarks for early ranchers and travelers. In the southern portion of the map, the high ground enters the Toiyabe National Forest, where the topography shifts toward more frequent meadows.
