McPherson Wash meanders across this desert landscape in Yuma County, providing a critical hydrological marker in an otherwise arid expanse. The 2014 survey documents a network of water collection points essential for survival and transport in the region, including the Little White Tanks and Figueroa Tank. These features, along with the eponymous Kofa Deep Well in the northeastern section of the quadrangle, highlight the importance of groundwater access for ranching or travel through the southwestern Arizona desert. Connectivity is maintained through primitive routes such as King Rd and Welton Kofa Rd, which cut across the township lines of t2s r18w and t3s r17w. The terrain is characterized by broad alluvial fans and isolated elevations that dictate the paths of these desert washes and roads.
