2014 Map of Lady Laird Peak

USGS Topo · Published 2014

About this map

The high desert landscape at the Juab Co and Millard Co line is defined by the elevation changes of the Detroit Mountains and the Little Drum Mountains. This 2014 survey documents the remote settlement of Joy, positioned near the base of Mt Laird and its namesake Laird Spring. The area's history of mineral exploration and rugged travel is evident in the network of secondary roads and trails, including the distinctive Gold Mine Rd and the Triangle mine site near Schoenburger Spring.
