South Clermont sits at the northern edge of a landscape defined by an intricate network of freshwater lakes and islands within the Green Swamp region. The eastern boundary is dominated by Lake Louisa State Park, where the waters of Lake Louisa meet a complex of smaller basins including Dudes Lake and Wash Lake. The terrain transitions into the distinct topography of Citrus Ridge, which rises above the surrounding wetlands and provides a backdrop for residential development along Lake Nellie RD and Royal Vista Ave.
