Lakeview Peak and its namesake Lakeview Peak Lake anchor this high-elevation portion of Cowlitz County, characterized by a complex drainage network that feeds the regional river systems. The northern sections are defined by the North Fork Kalama River and several tributaries including Elk Creek and Langdon Creek, while the southwestern corner follows the course of the main Kalama River.
