Lake Wallenpaupack dominates the southeastern corner of this mid-1960s study, where the border of Wayne and Pike Counties follows the shoreline. The interior landscape is defined by a dense network of glacial ponds and small lakes, including Paupackan Lake, Lake Lacawac, and Moc-a-Tek Lake. These water bodies supported a growing mid-century recreation economy, evidenced by the Boy Scout Camp on Goose Pond and a Drive-in Theater near Pink.
