Great Basin National Park and the high elevations of the Snake Range anchor this 2018 survey of the high desert terrain in White Pine County. The landscape is defined by its drainage systems, where intermittent and perennial flows like Lehman Cr, Strawberry Cr, and Baker Cr descend from the mountains toward the valley floor. Human activity is concentrated along the arterial access of Lehman Caves Rd and a network of named ranch and county routes, including Rowland Ranch Rd and Home Farm Rd.
