Scott Mtn and the high elevations of the Cascade Range dominate this portion of the Willamette National Forest in the mid-2010s. The landscape is a complex network of glacial lakes and volcanic features, including Benson Lake, Tenas Lakes, and the prominent Linton Lake tucked below the cliffs of the Three Sisters wilderness area. The drainage patterns are defined by steep drops, most notably at Proxy Falls and Linton Falls, where snowmelt feeds into White Br and Linton Cr.
