Little Water and its surrounding high-desert landscape are defined by a network of ephemeral watercourses and early 21st-century tribal infrastructure. The settlement sits near the confluence of several significant washes, including the prominent Sanostee Wash and Tocito Wash, which drain the arid plateau. A singular inland water feature, Tocito Lake, provides a focal point in the central portion of the quadrangle.
