1987 Map of Lloyd

USGS Topo · Published 1987

About this map

The northern foothills of the Bearpaw Mountains dominate this landscape, where the small settlement of Lloyd is situated along the winding course of Snake Creek. This area of north-central Montana shows a geography defined by its water sources and distinct geological formations, including the prominent Lloyd Butte and the curiously named Mans Head Rock. To the west, the Taylor Divide separates drainage basins between the seasonal runs of Bean Creek and Miles Creek.
