The Grand Hogback dominates the central topography of this western Colorado landscape, creating a dramatic ridgeline that separates the drainage systems of Sheep Cr and Flag Cr. The western slopes are carved by deep ravines including Segar Gulch, Joe Bush Gulch, and Timber Gulch, while the east is marked by the eponymous Lo 7 Hill and the rugged Red Canyon.
